In the Spring of '90, the Conservation District purchased a Finn T-90 Hydroseeder. A Hydroseeder employs three basic components. A pump, an engine, and a tank. It mixes and sprays a slurry of seed, fertilizer, binder, mulch, and soil amendments.

This implement, available to municipalities for a nominal fee, will be used on critical seedings such as: roadbanks and ditches, streambanks, diversion ditches, and various other conservation practices.

Pictured above is the seeding equipment the District has available. The District purchased a new mulcher this past season.
