Sales of tree, shrub, and ground cover seedlings for such conservation uses as erosion control, wind and snow breaks, energy conservation, watershed protection, wildlife habitat, and woodland products are held by many  Soil and Water Conservation Districts each spring.  Quantities are available to fit the needs of the homeowner in the city as well as the large landowner.  Advice is also available on site and specie selection and planting techniques.
